Der Name Basilikum kommt vom griechischen Wort \u201cK\u00f6nig\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basilikum ist eine wunderbare, aromatische Pflanze, die in der mediterranen K\u00fcche sehr gesch\u00e4tzt wird. Es war immer in den G\u00e4rten und auf den Balkonen griechischer St\u00e4dte und D\u00f6rfer zu finden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Basilikum wird oft mit Tomaten kombiniert, da es hilft, einen Teil der S\u00e4ure zu mildern. Ausser Pesto wird Basilikum in einer Vielzahl von Gerichten verwendet, von Vorspeisen bis hin zu Desserts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der gro\u00dfe Unterschied zwischen getrocknetem und frischem Basilikum ist der Geschmack. Obwohl es undenkbar erscheinen mag, ist getrocknetes Basilikum tats\u00e4chlich schmackhafter als frisches Basilikum.
